“[The peer educators] are kind of like our age and they know what we think and we feel because they
are going through the same stuff, so that helped a little…we’re all going through it together”
-Former 9th grade CROSSROADS Participant
Our goal for the Peer Zone is that it becomes the place you go anytime you have questions related to CROSSROADS (or drug abuse prevention in general). So check back here often to see how we’re doing and be sure to let us know what you think!
IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU
Regardless of what you may think, you are a role model for your school and your classmates! You have been chosen as a CROSSROADS Peer Educator because you possess unique qualities that CROSSROADS needs to get across our message of drug-free living. We don’t expect you to have all the answers, but we can arm you with knowledge and confidence to share what you know with your fellow students. Take pride in being the best CROSSROADS Peer Educator you can be—you never know whose life you may change!
“I know it sounds cheesy, but if I could help just one kid in my class stay off drugs, it was worth it.”
-Former CROSSROADS Peer Educator
